Home Board Nest

A private connection to Google Nest, exploring useful thermostat information for a local family dashboard.

What it does today

The current setup retrieves room temperature, humidity, heating state and related device information for evaluation. No thermostat dashboard or automated control service has been deployed.

Google bundles thermostat viewing and control into one permission. Current use is restricted to reading information. Settings and schedules are not changed.

Your connection

Access uses Google's Smart Device Management API and requires the device owner's consent. The owner can withdraw that consent in Google Nest Partner Connections Manager.

This website contains information about the integration. It provides no access to the household dashboard, readings or devices.
